Alfa: Weblogic 10.3.5 upgrade to 10.3.6


Patch:
Patch 13529623: PLACEHOLDER BUG FOR WEBLOGIC SERVER 11GR1 (10.3.6) UPGRADE INSTALLER
  1. Stop all "opmn" and "beasvc" Services
  2. Download the patch, and run the following:
  3. "java -jar wls1036_upgrade_generic.jar"
    1. Presented with:


    2. "Next"
    3. "Next"
    4. You will be presented with:
    5. Just remain "uninformed"  ... Have already the information! press "Next"

    7. The "WebLogic Server" have already been preselected. press "Next"

    9. This is okay, as this is exactly what we are looking to upgrade.

    11. All done.
    12. As per:
      1. https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e13754/upgrade_dom.htm#WLUPG170
      2. Run the Upgrade Wizard :
        1. cd C:\\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\bin
        2. upgrade.cmd


All done.....
Then running "startWeblogic.cmd" throws a lot of missing CLASSPATH errors ....

Alfa: Forms & Reports Update - Patch 17882900

The installation should follow the following thread: https://community.oracle.com/thread/3543041 1.  Ensure you are using WLS 10.3.6.  If not, apply the WLS patch first. 2.  Stop all running processes related to WLS and FMw 3.  Run the 11.1.2.2 installer.  If the installer prompts you to either "Install and Configure" or "Install - Do Not Configure", choose "Install - Do Not Configure" Started the "setup.exe" for the Patch, and promptly ran into "hpi.dll" been active and cannot be written to... Had to download "Procexp" from Microsoft and find the process "hpi.dll" process and kill it off, before the installation could continue.....
